THE AUDITORIUM & COURTYARD at OUACHITA GRAND PLAZA Conveniently located near Interstate-20 in the heart of Downtown Monroe, Ouachita Grand Plaza is one of Louisiana's most cherished historic sites. The only example of Jacobean architecture in the region, this historic circa 1924 building is home to a majestic Auditorium. Located along the banks of the Ouachita River with impressive views, expansive windows, soaring ceilings, and detailed craftsmanship, Grand Plaza is a rare treasure of the past. Available for Weddings, Receptions, Banquets, Class Reunions, Business Meetings and other Social Events, the Auditorium is 13,690 square feet with a 500 square foot stage and balcony; and, will accommodate up to 500 guests. There is a Grand Piano; Table Seating; and, a Podium with speaker system. An adjoining Courtyard with soothing Fountain and beautiful landscaping provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere your guests are sure to remember. There is also a commercial grade kitchen available for rent at an additional fee. The kitchen rental includes a newly renovated basement area able to accommodate an additional 200 people.
