
SUPPORT PROGRAMS AND SERVICES -
FOR RETIRED LIVING RESIDENTS
Support Services Provided through Partnership with the Ouachita Council on Aging. The Ouachita "Voluntary" Council on Aging was established by Charter on June 28, 1967 and is a private non-profit agency. This program is designed to assist older persons in leading independent, meaningful, and dignified lives in their own homes and community as long as possible.
 | Grocery Transportation: The Monroe Housing Authority has teamed up with the Council on Aging to provide transportation for elderly residents living in MHA communities. Contact property management office for availability.

Housekeeping Service:Includes light housekeeping such as mopping, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, changing and washing linens, etc., by a trained and supervised housekeeper.
Nutrition Service: Congregate Meals: Nutritionally balanced meals provided in a group setting. These hot, noon, meals are served 5 days a week (M-F), 250 days per year, and meet the 1/3 RDA requirements.
